Terms of Service
Effective October 25, 2026
These terms are an agreement between TrueGivers LLC (“we”, “us”), which runs TruePyramids, and the organization that uses it (“you”). By signing in you agree to them on your organization’s behalf, so please make sure you’re allowed to. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data and is part of these terms.
1. The service
TruePyramids helps nonprofits plan fundraising: gift pyramids, donor pyramids, True Pyramids, campaigns, prospect plans, CRM connections and, with Plus, an AI assistant, scheduled CRM sync and pyramid history. We may improve, change or retire features. Features marked “Beta” may change more often and may not always work as expected.
2. Your account and team
- You sign in with Google or Microsoft and are responsible for keeping that account secure.
- Your organization’s owner manages the team, the plan and its data. Members can upload, build and delete pyramids.
- You’re responsible for what happens under your organization’s account, and for telling us promptly at support@truepyramids.com if you think someone has used it without permission.
3. Your data
- Your organization owns the data it uploads or pulls from its CRM. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide TruePyramids to you.
- You confirm you have the right to share that data with a service provider like us, and that sharing it doesn’t break any law or promise you’ve made to your donors.
- We remove anything that looks like personal information when we read a file, but you agree not to deliberately put names, contact details or other sensitive personal information into the columns you keep.
- You can delete your data at any time in Settings › Data, as the Privacy Policy describes.
4. Acceptable use
Don’t use TruePyramids to break the law, upload malicious code, try to reach another organization’s data, probe or overload the service, resell it, or use it to build a competing product. We may suspend access that puts the service or other customers at risk, and we’ll tell you why when we can.
5. Plus
- Plus costs $29 a month or $290 a year per organization, plus any applicable tax, and covers your whole team. Payments are handled by Stripe.
- Plus renews automatically at the end of each month or year until it’s cancelled. Any team member can upgrade; only the owner can cancel, in Settings › Plan.
- When you cancel, Plus stays on until the end of the period you’ve paid for and then stops; we don’t refund partial periods unless the law requires it. Deleting your workspace ends Plus right away.
- The AI assistant includes 150 requests a month with Plus. Unused requests don’t carry over.
- If a payment fails, we and Stripe will try again for a short time; if it keeps failing, your organization goes back to Free. Nothing you built is deleted, and pyramid history snapshots stay viewable.
- We may change Plus prices with at least 30 days’ email notice to the owner. A new price applies from your next renewal after the notice period.
6. AI and estimates
Pyramids, prospect counts, tiers, suggestions and anything the AI assistant writes are estimates based on your data. They can be wrong, and they aren’t financial, legal or fundraising advice. Check them before you rely on them. If you use your own Anthropic or OpenAI key, your use of that provider is also governed by your agreement with them.
7. Third-party services
When you connect a CRM or sign in with Google or Microsoft, your use of those services is governed by their terms. We aren’t responsible for their availability or for changes they make that affect a connection.
8. Ending
You can stop using TruePyramids at any time, and the owner can delete the workspace in Settings › Data. We may end or suspend your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. If we ever shut TruePyramids down, we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice so you can export your work, and refund any prepaid Plus time you won’t get to use.
9. Warranties and liability
We work hard to keep TruePyramids accurate and available, but it’s provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the extent the law allows, neither of us is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, donations or data, and our total liability for any claim about TruePyramids is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $100.
You’ll defend us against third-party claims that arise from data you uploaded without the right to do so, or from your breaking section 4, and cover the resulting costs.
10. General
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and both of us agree to their jurisdiction.
- We may update these terms. For significant changes we’ll email the owner at least 30 days before they take effect; using TruePyramids after that means you accept them.
- If part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term isn’t a waiver of it. You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger or sale of the business.
- These terms, with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about TruePyramids.
